We will not increase the number of regions and people who are left out of the medical net, nor overlook them.
About Redwood Mission
The non-governmental organisation Redwood Mission started its activities in 2013.
Initially, we engaged in multinational medical volunteering mainly in rural areas and urban slums in Africa and South-East Asia where the medical network was not available. Since 2016 we have also been involved in the treatment of Buruli ulcers and the construction of clinics in West Africa.
We are currently setting up a medical project in Malawi from 2020, having previously met the Deputy Ambassador of Malawi at TICAD 7 in 2019.

The corona pandemic forced a two-year hiatus, but a revisit to the Malawian Embassy in July 2022 led to a resumption of activities in Malawi. After having in-depth discussions with the Malawian Ministry of Health in August, I made a visit in September. Our Malawi project was officially endorsed by the Malawi Ministry of Health Council on 7 September and we have received a request to launch activities, so we are planning to scale up our activities.
